Dierks Bentley's Seven Peaks Music Festival has been canceled due to capacity restrictions.

"Seven Peaks Music Festival is being cancelled for 2021 due to current capacity restrictions in place by local health officials," Seven Peaks organizers said in an announcement on Friday.

"We are already planning for 2022, and a new location will be announced in the coming months," they added.

In addition, Bentley took to social media to share the news. "I am so sorry to announce that we are going to have to cancel 7P for this year," Bentley wrote on Instagram.

"I really could not be more bummed about it. We tried everything to make it happen, but Chaffee County has decided against lifting capacity restrictions," the country music singer-songwriter added.

Chaffee County is currently not giving permission for events where more than 5,000 participants attend.

The three-day camping festival was originally scheduled for the first week of September in Buena Vista, Colorado.

All 2021 passes purchased at SevenPeaksFestival.com will automatically be fully refunded within 30 days back to the original form of payment.
