Mark Hoppus, who has been undergoing treatment for cancer, says an upcoming test may determine if he will live or die.

In his latest update on the cancer treatment, Hoppus also shared a photo of the area of concentration for his treatments.

"Apologies if I'm oversharing but it's so surreal to think that this week I'll take a test that may very well determine if I live or die. Thanks to everyone for the positive thoughts and encouragement. I read all your replies and it means the world to me. Thank you," he told his fans on Twitter.

He added, "I'm going to beat this through chemotherapy or through bone marrow transplants, but either way I'm determined to kick cancer's ass directly in the nuts."

During a game of Blinko on Twitch with fans last month, the Blink-182 singer/bassist revealed that he has been battling cancer for the past three months. He did not specify the type of cancer he is diagnosed with.

In an update earlier this month, the 49-year-old rock star shared a photo of his bald head, saying that he lost his hair as a side effect of chemotherapy.
