Scientists believe that there are many less known cannabinoids that can contribute to treating many complex illnesses. In a recent report, researchers of Grove Inc. (GRVI) have shown how tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) are not the only cannabis products that contribute to treatment.

Grove's blog says that its researchers have known about at least 483 compounds that can be found from the hem. There are more than 200 cannabinoids (CBN) that are extracted from the plants. These chemicals can interact with the endocannabinoid system in the body and help regulate sleep, appetite, mood, memory, production, and fertility.

Scientists have also reported as many as 50 rare cannabinoids with impressive healing properties. Cannabinoids such as cannabigerol (CBG), Cannabinol, and tetrahydrocannabivarin can be great measures to treat anxiety, lack of sleep, and the problems that were solved by the THC. The added advantage is that these compounds do not have the psychoactive properties of THC.

CBG on the other hand is a very good remedy to inflammations, pain, nausea, and other illnesses. Known as the "mother of cannabinoids" CBG might also have the ability to slow down the reproduction of cancer cells.

In a similar note, Cannabinol, made of aged THC, can contain antibacterial properties that will help the treatment of infections that anti-biotics usually cannot work on. Other than that, it can also regulate the appetite of individuals and treat glaucoma.

Scientists believe CBN can also treat amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) if it is used as a Neuroprotection.

Grove has recently acquired Vitamedica earlier this month to tap into a new network of supply lines. The CEO of Grove. Dr. David said, "Our team at Grove gained a great company with an amazing product line that has generated more than $10 million in sales over the past several years and we believe has the potential for exponential growth from here."
