Maddie & Tae recently released their powerful new ballad "Madness," which will be part of their upcoming studio release via Mercury Nashville.
The pair wrote on Instagram that "Madness" is "about the people who get you through the rough times ... or in our case, the guys who changed our last names."
The song finds Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr sharing their belief that love triumphs over the curveballs of life.
"You're my North Star / You're my hideaway / You're my lighthouse shinin' in a hurricane / You're my best friend / You're my favorite thing," they sing in the opening verse, showcasing their famous, signature harmonies in style.
"If the world goes mad / If it all goes bad / If the world goes mad / I'll love you through the madness / I'll love you through the madness, babe," they sing in the chorus.
Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr wrote "Madness" with Jessie Jo Dillon and Zach Kale. Jimmy Robbins and Derek Wells produced the song.
Maddie & Tae previously shared "Woman You Got," "Mood Ring" and "Life Ain't Fair" from their upcoming studio project.
