Slipknot's new single "The Chapeltown Rag" debuted atop Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart.
With the song, the thrash metal band scored their first No. 1 entry on the tally, which began in June 2020.
"The Chapeltown Rag," which dropped on November 5, debuted with 1.7 million streams and 4,100 downloads in the week ending November 11, according to MRC Data.
The song also bowed at No. 1 on Hard Rock Digital Song Sales, earning the band their fifth chart-topper and first since "Unsainted" in 2019.
The track also entered at No. 35 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, earning the group its 19th entry.
"The Chapeltown Rag" is the first single from Slipknot's forthcoming seventh studio album. The band's last LP, We Are Not Your Kind, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in August 2019, earning the band their third chart-topper.
