In an uplifting Thanksgiving message, Mark Hoppus shared about his battle with cancer and the current state of his health.

"I have so much to be thankful for today. This photo is from June, halfway through chemo, no idea if it was working or not, relegated to the bathroom floor, retching," the Blink-182 singer/bassist wrote on Instagram on Thanksgiving Day.

Hoppus, 49, also shared a photo of himself crouching by a toilet.

"If I ever complain about something trivial or unimportant, please show me this photo to remind me of how bad things can be, and how truly blessed I am. I hope you all have an amazing day with friends and family. Happy Thanksgiving," he added.

Hoppus had revealed in June that he had been battling cancer for three months.

He has been giving regular updates on the treatment for Stage 4-A Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma since then.

The "What's My Age Again?" singer announced in September that he is cancer-fee.

Hoppus said that he still has to get scanned every six months and it will take him until the end of the year to get back to normal.
