Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has indicated the band will release their final album in 2025.
"Our last proper record will come out in 2025, and after that I think we will only tour," Martin told BBC Radio 2.
A clip of his Christmas Show was aired on the "Zoe Ball Breakfast Show" last Wednesday.
During the show, BBC Radio 2 presenter Jo Whiley told fellow DJ Zoe Ball, "He's always very funny and I'm never quite sure if he's joking or being deadly serious."
At the time of releasing Coldplay's ninth studio album Music of the Spheres in October, Martin told NME that the British rock band plans to make three more albums before winding up.
In 2025, Coldplay would complete 25 years since releasing their first album, Parachutes.
