R&B superstar The Weeknd has revealed that his brand-new album, Dawn FM, is set to drop on Friday, January 7.
The Grammy Award-winning artist took to Twitter to share a short, 1-minute teaser clip of the new collection, which features collaborations with artists such as Lil Wayne, Tyler, the Creator, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix Point Never and actor Jim Carrey.
"You are now listening to 103.5 Dawn FM. You've been in the dark for way too long," a radio DJ announces in the clip. "It's time to walk into the light and accept your fate with open arms."
The teaser is an amalgamation of dark images including those of hooded, Dementor-like figures and a much older version of the singer glancing around in utter confusion as chaos breaks all around him.
The new album will be a follow-up to his March 2020 record, After Hours, which included the chart-topping hit "Blinding Lights."
