Kelsea Ballerini debuted an unreleased new song on Saturday night, playing it live on the Grand Ole Opry stage.
The country singer told the audience that she is in the early stages of making her new album and sought their feedback about including the song.
"This is a song that I'm really proud of," she said. "Maybe if you like it, I'll put it on the album."
Ballerini said the untitled song's wisdom about finding happiness comes from a new perspective that she discovered during the forced lockdown caused by the pandemic.
"I'm finding is what I think probably a lot of us have found: In the last couple of years ... as we've kind of been forced to step back and look at our lives and had a lot of time to do that, it's made you kind of look at what you have differently," Ballerini said.
She added, "And for me, I've started to really appreciate the little things a lot more."
