"9 to 5," the classic title song that Dolly Parton wrote for the comedy film four decades ago, gets a new look in an upcoming new documentary about the making of the film.
Grammy Award winning television host Kelly Clarkson has teamed up with Parton for the new version, produced by Shane McAnally.
The docufilm, titled Still Working 9 To 5, will make its world premiere on March 13 during the 2022 South by Southwest Festival.
Still Working 9 To 5 will feature exclusive interviews with the original cast - Parton, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin and Dabney Coleman - talking about the significance of the film.
The documentary explores why workplace inequality still persists even 40 years after the original film sent a serious message about working women.
The film, produced and directed jointly by Camille Hardman and Gary Lane, is an official entry in the "Documentary Spotlight competition" category at SXSW.
