Drake delivered a heartfelt speech praising The Weeknd at the R&B superstar's 32nd birthday party.
"We're celebrating one of the greatest artists of all f-king time," Drake said. "My brother from day one, and I'm grateful not only to be here with my brothers but that the family is back together where we belong from the greatest city in the world. Straight, big six Toronto."
"At the end of the day we are here for one man and I want everyone to enjoy their life on behalf of my brother Abel," he added, calling his longtime friend and collaborator by his original name, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye.
Drake later posted a series of photos taken from the birthday celebration held in Las Vegas on Saturday.
"We've done everything like it's nothing…isn't that something," he captioned the snapshots posted on Instagram.
Swedish House Mafia, Future, Tristan Thompson and Hilary Duff were among the celebrities who attended the party.
