Kanye West recently released a video for his Grammy-nominated single "Hurricane," featuring The Weeknd and Lil Baby. The song is part of Kanye's album Donda.
The CGI animated visual, which features acid rain, and shows Jesus Christ appearing in a crowd gathered on the beach, sees The Weeknd sing, "See this in 3D, all lights out for me."
The video ends with a photograph — one of the most famous to come out of Hurricane Katrina — of a flag emerging from a pile of rubble.
The "Hurricane" music video takes place in an edgy universe where masked digital avatars of West, Weeknd and Lil Baby oversee the rapture of a dystopian-looking society.
"Hurricane" has been nominated in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category at the 2022 Grammy Awards, while Donda is up for Best Rap Album and Album of the Year.
