English rock guitarist Jeff Beck has announced an upcoming album with Johnny Depp, as the Pirates of the Caribbean actor returns from victory in a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
A jury recently awarded Depp more than $10 million in his libel lawsuit against Heard in a widely followed suit.
"I met this guy five years ago and we've never stopped laughing since. We actually made an album. I don't know how it happened. It will be out in July," Beck told a crowd at the Sage Gateshead in Gateshead, England.
Depp had also joined Beck during the show and performed few songs including covers of Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing" and Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On" as well as the John Lennon song "Isolation."
Depp had also performed with Beck at London's Royal Albert Hall a couple of days before the verdict was announced in the defamation trial.
