Walker Hayes paid tribute to his late daughter with a touching message he posted on social media.
Hayes' daughter Oakleigh Klover Hayes died on the same day his wife Laney gave birth to the child four years ago.
On what would have been her fourth birthday, Hayes wrote on Instagram, "There's so much redemption in this picture can't stand it" alongside a photo of his wife holding a toddler named Oakley, with whom the couple has been spending time and babysitting.
"Our Oakleigh is with Jesus but this Oakley and her parents have been the arms of the Lord firmly wrapped around our entire family. There were days I wondered if Laney would ever hold a baby and smile again. Today is our Oakleigh's 4th birthday, and while we wish were celebrating with her on this earth, we praise God for the eternal impact she's had on us and the world! Hallelujah," Hayes added.
Following the tragic death of his daughter, Hayes wrote a not-yet-released song titled "Six On Earth, One In Heaven," sharing his story to help others in similar situations.
