During an appearance on NBC's "Today With Hoda & Jenna" talk show on Tuesday (June 13), Breland revealed the details of his upcoming debut album Cross Country, due out on September 9.

"The first video he ever posted of his song 'My Truck' went viral and became such a hit, it was used in a commercial which got more than 75 million views," Hoda Kotb said while introducing Breland on the show on Tuesday morning.

Breland had teased his album announcement on his social media channels on Monday (June 13), announcing that his new single, "Natural," would release and that he "may have something else to tell you" on the show. He wrote on Instagram that he's "been waiting on this since I was a kid" and he's "truly just so grateful lately."

Jenna Bush Hager added that Breland is also well-known for his collaborations with some of country's biggest stars, including Thomas Rhett and Keith Urban.

"I never thought I was gonna be someone that popped off the internet, but sometimes that's how it goes," Breland told the show's co-hosts.

"It's gonna be a heater," Breland wrote on social media, sharing a fan's excitement on his Instagram story. "I don't wanna say too much but I can say I feel so strongly about this music."

The album is named after Breland's song "Cross Country," an autobiographical look back at his journey.
