P!nk recently released a new protest anthem, "Irrelevant," in which she appeals to her fans to advocate for their rights.
The song's lyrics were written by P!nk and Ian Fitchuk, marking the debut collaboration between the two.
"You can call me irrelevant, insignificant/ You can try to make me small/ I'll be your heretic, you f-kin' hypocrite/ I won't think of you at all/ Sticks and stones and all that s-t/ Does Jesus love the ignorant?/ I like to think he'd gladly take us all," P!nk sings in the chorus.
Proceeds from the song will be donated to When We All Vote, the nonpartisan voting initiative launched by former First Lady Michelle Obama.
"As a woman with an opinion and the fearlessness to voice that opinion, it gets very tiring when the only retort is to tell me how irrelevant I am," P!nk said in a statement. "I am relevant because I exist, and because I am a human being. No one is irrelevant. And no one can take away my voice."
