Drake Announces 'October World Weekend' Concert Series

Drake took to social media last week to announce the first three events of a new concert series titled, "October World Weekend."

"OCTOBER WORLD WEEKEND ?? I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary," Drake wrote on Instagram. "But of course we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!! More event announcements to come."

The OVO boss announced that October World Weekend will take over his hometown of Toronto from July 28 to August 1 with a lineup featuring a Young Money reunion featuring Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj, as well as appearances from Lil Baby and Chris Brown.

The first show will be headlined by an ensemble of "All Canadian North Stars," at 2,500-capacity History venue on July 28. Brown and Lil Baby will headline the show at the 16,000-capacity Budweiser Stage on the following night, while Lil Wayne and Minaj will perform at the same venue on August 1.
