Margo Price recently dropped a new new song, titled "Been to the Mountain," along with a trippy music video directed by Courtney Hoffman.
Price co-wrote the song with husband Jeremy Ivey, while Jonathan Wilson produced the track.
"'Been to the Mountain' is part one of an introspective trip into our subconscious. It is the perfect continuation of my search for freedom in my art and freedom in the modern age," Price said in a statement. "We also wanted to portray how an intense psychedelic experience has the potential to become a spiritual experience, and how that can change your perception of the world around you."
Price also announced the launch of her Sonos Radio podcast, "Runaway Horses." In the series' first episode, Price interviews legendary singer-songwriter Emmylou Harris.
A new episode will be posted every Thursday over the next five weeks and will feature appearances from Amythyst Kiah, Swamp Dogg, Bob Weir, Bettye LaVette and Lucius.
