Former Van Halen lead vocalist, David Lee Roth has taken the band's "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" and recorded a new studio live version of the song.

Earlier this month, the singer released a 2022 version of the band's 1984 classic "Panama".

According to reports, Roth recorded both the songs on May 3 at the Henson Recording Studio, where he recoded a marathon 14 songs in just two hours.

There has been talks of a Van Halen tribute tour and Roth has been very coy about it.

He said in June, "There's always a tomorrow for a singer, not so much for a trombone player these days. How many times did Rocky retire? Seven. I think number three was my favorite. How many times did Rambo have to come out of retirement in order to make the sequel?"

Earlier in April, the frontman told Van Halen News Desk that he has a lineup in his head if he has to put together one for a tribute tour

"In my mind, 'Van Halen 4K' in the age of COVID is going to require two of us for every position," he said. "[Joe] Satriani and [Steve] Lukather, [Michael] Anthony and [Jason] Newsted, Al [Van Halen] or Tommy Lee. Probably the only one who could do my job is Pink."
