Metallica have announced their third Helping Hands Concert & Auction to help those in need. The metal legends said they are "psyched" to be celebrating the achievements of the All Within My Hands foundation, a non-profit foundation focused on creating sustainable communities by tackling issues including hunger and workforce education.
The band said "some amazing items and experiences" will be auctioned off at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, on December 16, but did not disclose the details.
100 percent of ticket and auction proceeds will go to those in need.
Established in 2017, All Within My Hands works with partners around the world to combat food insecurity, provide funds in areas of natural disaster, and support education with the ground-breaking Metallica Scholars program, now in its fourth year.
Tickets go on sale for the auction on September 23 at 10 am PDT at AXS.com.
