Carly Pearce recently shared a reflective new music video for her latest Gold-certified single "What He Didn't Do."

CMT premiered the video ahead of Pearce's 2022 CMT Artists of the Year honor on Friday, October 14.

The Alexa Campbell-directed music video serves as the end of a significant chapter and previews the singer's next project. The clip begins with Pearce on a beach in a wedding dress, as she recalls her emotionally-draining relationship.

"I'm already halfway over him, and I ain't taking time to turn around | And I'm a take the high road, even though we both know | I could run him out of this town." she belts while dipping her toes in the water. "That's just dirty laundry, I don't need to wear the truth | So I ain't gonna tell you everything he did | But I'll tell you what he didn't do."

Pearce then plunges into the depths of the sea and when she resurfaces, she looks rejuvenated.

"What He Didn't Do" was released on June 13, 2022 as the third single from Pearce's third studio album 29: Written in Stone. Pearce co-wrote the song with Ashley Gorley and Emily Shackelton.
