BTS member Jin has jumped to No. 1 on Billboard's Emerging Artists chart, becoming the sixth member of the Korean boy band to reach the top spot.
Jin jumped from No. 12 to the top position on the November 12-dated survey, helped by his new solo single "The Astronaut."
The track debuted at No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart with 44,000 downloads sold in its first tracking week, according to Luminate, following its October 28 release. Jin and Coldplay co-wrote "The Astronaut."
Jin now joins J-Hope, Jung Kook, RM, Suga and V as the sixth member of BTS to rule Emerging Artists solo.
