After moving notably lower over the three previous sessions, treasuries showed a strong move back to the upside during trading on Tuesday.
Bond prices gave back some ground after an early rally but remained firmly positive. Subsequently, the yield on the benchmark ten-year note, which moves opposite of its price, tumbled by 11 basis points to 3.501 percent.
