U2's Bono has announced an eight-date "Stories Of Surrender" book tour residency at New York's Beacon Theatre.
The book tour is in support of his new memoir "Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story." The 576-page memoir dropped on November 1 via publishing house Alfred A. Knopf.
As the title of the memoir indicates, the book explores the origins of 40 songs in U2's discography. Each chapter is named for the song it covers, with Bono's life story weaved throughout the book.
Bono will appear at the Beacon April 16, 17th, 21st, 22nd, 26th, 28th and 29th and May 3rd. He will be supported by musicians Gemma Doherty and Kate Ellis and musical director Jacknife Lee.
Tickets are on sale now.
