Slipknot and Korn have been confirmed to headline next year's Knotfest Japan.

The Slipknot-curated festival is scheduled to take place at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall on April 1-2, 2023.

On April 1, Slipknot will be joined by Man With A Mission. For the April 2 Knotfest date, Slipknot and Korn will appear alongside Tokyo experimental metal outfit Maximum The Hormone.

General on-sale begins Monday, December 19 at 12:00 p.m. and runs until January 9 at 11:59 p.m. JST.

Knotfest Japan was originally scheduled to take place in March 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID pandemic and was rescheduled for January 2021 and February 2022 before finally fixed for April of 2023.

A statement shared by the band at the time said, "We have come to this decision due to ongoing changes with coronavirus mandates in Japan and the uncertainty of how regulations of entry into Japan will stand in 2022. As we anticipate the indoor festival to draw large crowds of people, our first priority is to provide the safest environment for fans, artists, staff and everyone involved."
