Stocks have moved mostly lower in morning trading on Thursday, adding to the steep losses posted in the previous session. The major averages have all moved to the downside, with the tech-heavy Nasdaq leading the way lower.
In recent trading, the major averages have fallen to new lows for the session. The Nasdaq is down 113.74 points or 1.0 percent at 10,843.27, the S&P 500 is down 33.02 points or 0.8 percent at 3,895.84 and the Dow is down 243.79 points or 0.7 percent at 33,053.17.
