Guns N' Roses' "November Rain" video has surpassed two billion views on YouTube.
The clip is the first hard rock video and 90s rock video to reach the milestone.
"November Rain" was written by the band's lead vocalist Axl Rose and released in February 1992 as the third single from their third studio album, Use Your Illusion I. The song peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
The music video for "November Rain" was directed by Andy Morahan. It was inspired by Del James' short story "Without You," for which he is credited in the long version of the video.
The video shows a rock star struggling with the loss of his girlfriend, who died by suicide after he repeatedly strayed from their relationship.
The video was released in 1991 but wasn't uploaded to YouTube until Christmas Day 2009.
