The Pretenders, Steve Earl & More Join Black Deer Festival Lineup

Organizers of the Black Deer Festival of Americana have announced a second wave of artists set to perform in the deer park this summer.

The Pretenders, Bear's Den, Midlake, Steve Earle, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real and Far From Saints join the previously announced lineup that includes Grammy Award-winning Bonnie Raitt, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and others.

Additional names announced Thursday include Folk heroes This Is The Kit, Americana super group Bonny Light Horseman, blues star Joanne Shaw Taylor, CMAT, Drake White, Katherine Priddy, Tami Neilson, Angeline Morrison, Simeon Hammond Dallas, Willi Carlisle, Melissa Carper, Dylan LeBlanc, Sleep Walking Animals, Bonnie Montgomery and Luke Elliot.

"We're looking forward to getting on stage and performing in front of a new audience," says Stereophonics legend Kelly Jones, who will lead his new band Far From Saints into their first festival experience at Eridge Park in Kent during June 16-18.
