The Weeknd is set to make his feature-length acting debut in a new movie featuring "Wednesday" star Jenna Ortega and The Banshees Of Inisherin's Barry Keoghan.
Trey Edward Shults will direct the movie with a script he co-wrote with The Weeknd and his producing partner Reza Fahim.
Additionally, The Weeknd has recruited frequent collaborator, composer and producer Oneohtrix Point Never to score the film with him.
Shooting is already underway in Los Angeles, though details regarding the plot have not yet been revealed.
The Weeknd and Fahim will produce the film with Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss.
