U2's Songs Of Surrender has debuted on top of the official U.K. Albums Chart. This marks the Irish rock band's 11th U.K. No. 1 album.
U2 is now tied with David Bowie, with each having 11 chart-topping LPs to their credit.
Songs of Surrender also becomes U2's first chart-topping LP in over a decade; the group having last enjoyed No. 1 success with 2009's No Line on the Horizon.
The album also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, proving the most popular record of the week on wax.
Songs of Surrender's success sees U2 scale up the list of acts with the most official U.K. No. 1 albums to their name.
Meanwhile, as Taylor Swift kicks off The Eras Tour stateside, five of her classic records are ranked in the Top 40 albums.
