Country superstar Cody Johnson has announced another new double album, titled Cody Johnson: Leather.
Johnson announced the news about his next album during an interview with Audacy's KMLE Country 107.9 at Country Thunder in Arizona.
The 24-track Leather will mark Johnson's second consecutive double album after his 2021 project, Human, was also a two-disc project with 18 tracks in total.
In conversation with KMLE's Gunner & Cheyenne, Johnson explains that he plans to "release this one a little differently" than he did Human.
"Maybe by the end of the year, maybe next year," the singer said about the release timeline of the album.
"This round of 24 songs, I have to say, is the best round of songs I've ever recorded," he added. "And I feel like that's the way it should be. Each album should outdo the last one."
