MoneyBagg Yo Shares Heartfelt Letter To Fans, Reveals 'Hard To Love' Release Date

MoneyBagg Yo took to social media last week to share a heartfelt letter to fans, addressing his absence and the love and loss he has endured in the past two years.

MoneyBagg offered fans a glimpse into his life beyond rap and the struggles he faces as he continues to secure his legacy.

"I gained and lost more than I ever thought I would and had no other safe outlet for all the emotions and dark thoughts that came with that other than making music," he wrote on Instagram.

The rapper also announced that he is back with new music, the Hard to Love mixtape, which is set to arrive on May 26 via CMG/N-Less/Interscope Records.

MoneyBagg also elaborated on the mixtape's title. His explanation for the 22-track project was succinct: "At the end of the day, to love me, you have to understand me."

The full track list for Hard to Love is not yet known. The record is certain to contain the the recently released single "On Wat U On," which pairs him with North Memphis labelmate, GloRilla, and last December's mesmerizing "Quickie."

MoneyBagg Yo's last record, A Gangsta's Pain, which arrived in 2021, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 110,000 album equivalent units. The album's "Said Sum" and "Wockesha" were top 20 hits.
