Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will score the new animated movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
The news was revealed by Jeff Rowe, who co-directs the film with Kyler Spears.
"Well now that my teenage hero @tonyhawk has leaked that my music heroes are doing this I can add that the score is absolutely AMAZING," Rowe wrote on Twitter. "Exhilarating, terrifying, heartbreaking, full of sounds I didn't know existed. I don't have the vocabulary to describe it. I love it so much."
The film, co-produced and co-written by Seth Rogens, is scheduled to be released on August 4 via Paramount Pictures.
This is not the first time that Ross and Reznor are composing music for films.
The duo scored the music for Sam Mendes' Empire of Light and Luca Guadagnino's Bones and All, which were both released last year.
