Michael Cartellone, the drummer for the iconic rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd, has announced a new art exhibit.
The exhibit will feature his new works at the Wentworth Gallery at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood on Thursday, July 20th, just a day before the Skynyrd Tour kicks off in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The co-headlining tour with ZZ Top, dubbed "The Sharp-Dressed Simple Man Tour," runs through a September 17th show in Camden, New Jersey. It coincides with the 50th Anniversary of the iconic band. Cartellone previously showed his "Pixelism" art with the Wentworth Gallery in 2019.
The new works from 2023 feature a tribute to Ringo Starr and the Beatles as well as a very special commemorative piece called "Fifty" celebrating the 50-year legacy of Lynyrd Skynyrd and a tribute to the first Skynyrd album, Pronounced.
