Imagine Dragons' 'Thunder' Surpasses 2 Billion Views On YouTube

Imagine Dragons' video for "Thunder" has notched over 2 billion views on YouTube.

"Thunder" is the band's second track to reach the 2 billion views club after "Believer."

"Thunder" was released on April 27, 2017, as the second single from Imagine Dragons' third studio album, Evolve (2017). The song was written by band members Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman and its producers Alex Da Kid and Jayson DeZuzio.

The song peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The music video for the song was released on Imagine Dragons' YouTube channel on May 2, 2017. The video was shot in Dubai and filmed in black and white. It features Reynolds singing and dancing among extraterrestrials. The video was directed by Joseph Kahn.
