Neil Young is set to release the long-lost album Chrome Dreams on August 11.
The 12-track album features songs recorded between 1974-77 and was originally intended to be released in 1977. The album was initially shelved but has since become one of his most treasured bootleg recordings.
The record includes several originals eventually re-recorded or overdubbed elsewhere, including "Powderfinger" and "Pocahontas," later featured on Rust Never Sleeps; "Sedan Delivery" and "Hold Back the Tears," later remade with new lyrics; and "Stringman."
