My Morning Jacket covered The Beatles' "The Ballad of John and Yoko" during their headlining performance at the 11th edition of the Peach Music Festival in Scranton, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, July 1.

The cover performance by MMJ was a nod to Sean Lennon, the only son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, who had just performed with Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade prior to the Jacket.

Although "The Ballad of John and Yoko" is credited as a Beatles song, the song was recorded under the Lennon-McCartney partnership, as George Harrison and Ringo Starr don't appear on the track. The song chronicles the events surrounding the wedding of Lennon and Ono.
