Drake Catches Poetry Book Thrown By Concertgoer

Drake caught a copy of his poetry book thrown at him by a concertgoer over the weekend.

The unruly incident took place while Drake was speaking to the crowd during a concert at San Francisco's Chase Center on August 19 as part of his It's All a Blur Tour.

The Canadian superstar caught the paperback copy of "Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness" with one hand.

Identifying the attacker, the 36-year-old rapper told him, "You lucky I'm quick. Would've had to beat your a** if that hit me in the face."

One of the fans shared the video on Twitter.

Drake released the book of lyrics, poems and one-liners, co-written with Kenza Samir, in June.

This is the latest incident of artists being disrupted in the middle of their shows, hit with objects hurled at them. Cardi B, P!nk, Bebe Rexha, Lil Nas X, Harry Styles and Kelsea Ballerini have had such experiences recently.

And Drake himself was targeted earlier, pelted onstage with brassieres.
