Disturbed recently received the key to Tinley Park, the band's hometown in Illinois.

The ceremonial handover of the key took pace ahead of the heavy metal band's concert at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park on Wednesday as part of their Take Back Your Life Tour.

Tinley Park mayor Colleen Sullivan presented a key to the city on behalf of the Village board and the Village of Tinley Park to the four members of Disturbed - guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, lead vocalist David Draiman and bassist John Moyer.

He followed it up by sending a message on social media, "What an amazing night recognizing DISTURBED in front of their hometown crowd of Tinley Park! It was an honor to present them with a Key to the City, on behalf of the Village Board & the Village of Tinley Park!"

The band shared photos from the ceremony on social media and thanked the Mayor of Tinley Park and to all of the trustees and board members "for this sentimental moment."
