Billie Eilish has received the BRIT Billion Award for surpassing one billion career U.K. streams.
Eilish joins a group of 20 music stars, including ABBA, Sam Smith, Coldplay, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey and Olivia Rodrigo, who have received the award from the BPI.
In all, seven of Eilish's tracks have topped 100 million U.K. streams. The best among them is "Bad Guy" with more than 300 million U.K. streams.
BRIT Billion is the landmark award from the BRIT Certified scheme, celebrating a total of one billion UK streams, verified using Official Charts data.
The 21-year-old music sensation is the winner of three other BRIT Awards.
She was voted international female solo artist consecutively in 2020 and 2021. In the following year, she won the international artist of the year award.
At 17, Eilish became the youngest female artist in U.K. chart history to earn a No. 1 album when her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? topped the chart.
