SZA recently released a new acoustic version of her single "Snooze," featuring Justin Bieber.
The track, "Snooze (Acoustic)," was produced by Carter Lang. The new version sees SZA stripping the song back, with Bieber joining in on vocals.
"Snooze" is a song from SZA's second studio album, SOS. SZA wrote the song with producers Babyface, the Rascals (Leon Thomas III and Khristopher Riddick-Tynes), and BLK.
The song peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming SZA's eighth top ten single, and topped the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Rhythmic charts. In August 2023, "Snooze" was certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for surpassing 2 million units sold.
SOS, which dropped in December 2022, was the Grammy-winning singer's sophomore album. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming SZA's first chart-topper.
Meanwhile, during her album celebration event at Brooklyn Navy Yard in New York City on September 8, SZA announced she will releasing a deluxe version of SOS with seven to 10 new songs.
"So the deluxe is like a whole 'nother album, and it's called Lana. It's seven to 10 songs, and it'll be out this fall," SZA said.
