SZA's SOS has broken the record for most weeks atop Billboard's Top R&B Albums Chart.
When the blockbuster album was ranked at No. 1 for the 41st week on the chart dated September 30, SOS broke the 40 weeks tie with The Weeknd's After Hours.
After Hours reigned the R&B Albums Chart for 40 weeks during April 2020 - June 2021.
SOS earned 53,000 equivalent album units in the tracking week ending September 21, according to Luminate.
SOS' other achievements on Billboard's charts include No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 and Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, "Kill Bill", a single from the album dominating the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart for 21-weeks.
SOS is the second studio album by the singer-songwriter, which was released on December 9, 2022. i I features guest appearances from Don Toliver, Phoebe Bridgers, Travis Scott, and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard.
