Hip-hop superstar Nicki Minaj has pushed back the release of her new album, Pink Friday 2.
Minaj has postponed the release of Pink Friday 2 from November 17 to December 8. Minaj had originally scheduled the album for October 20 then re-scheduled it for November 17.
"The new album date for this incredible body of work, that I am so proud of is on a special day to me and to the Barbz — it will come out on my birthday," said Minaj. "Pink Friday 2 I am so happy to announce will be out on my birthday."
Last month, Minaj dropped an emotional new single, "Last Time I Saw You," from the album.
Pink Friday 2 will follow Minaj's 2018 album, Queen and her monumental 2010 debut, Pink Friday. Minaj also reissued her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty in 2021.
