Mariah Carey shared a video on social media at the stroke of midnight on November 1, keeping up her annual tradition of announcing the start of Christmas season.
She captioned her post, "It's…… TIME!!! ?????? #MariahSZN."
In the visual, a clock counts down the seconds until midnight on Halloween, and as it strikes, a vault opens and reveals an embedded Carey in a black of ice.
Four people in classic Halloween costumes try to free her using hairdryers, and Carey proclaims, "It's time!" as she emerges from the ice block.
She is then seen dancing to "All I Want For Christmas Is You," joined by her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, amidst snowfall.
"All I Want For Christmas Is You," which remains a Christmas staple ever since its release in 1994, became the top-streamed song worldwide for most of December 2022, garnering about 5.5 million to 7 million streams each day, according to Spotify charts.
