Former Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars recently released "Loyal To The Lie," the lead single from his upcoming debut solo album The Other Side Of Mars.
The Other Side Of Mars will be released on February 23, 2024. A pre-order is now available. The record will be released on a 180g LP and CD, signed and unsigned. The album will be released via Mick's own label 1313, LLC, in partnership with MRI.
Earlier in June, Mars had revealed that one song from the record will seemingly be about his former Motley Crue bandmates.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, he said, "This is a song I wrote called 'Killing Breed.' It's about narcissists that keep you pinned down and make you feel crazy."
The guitarist has launched a lawsuit against Motley Crue, claiming that they tried to oust him from the band to deny him payments he'd be due as a remaining member of the band's companies. However, they have refuted those allegations.
