Andre 3000's "I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a 'Rap' Album But This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time" has broken the record for the longest song ever to reach Billboard Hot 100.
The long-titled 12 minutes and 20 seconds-long song is ranked No. 90 on its debut on the chart dated December 2.
The record for the most lengthy song on the Billboard Hot 100 had previously been held by Tool's 10:21 minute-long "Fear Inoculum," which was ranked No. 93 in August 2019.
The third longest-running Hot 100 song is Taylor Swift's 10 minutes and 13 seconds-long "All Too Well (Taylor's Version)."
"I Swear" is a song from Andre's new debut solo album, New Blue Sun.
The album topped the New Age Albums chart with 24,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the November 17-23 tracking week, according to Luminate.
