Green Day recently released a video for their latest single, "Dilemma," a song from their new album, Saviors.

The video directed by Ryan Baxley, which begins in black and white and ends in color, shows singer Billie Joe Armstrong drinking heavily at a show.

"Welcome to my problems/ It's not an invitation/ This is my dilemma," sings Armstrong. "I was sober, now I'm drunk again/ I'm in trouble and in love again/ I don't want to be a dead man walking."

The band, which first announced "Dilemma" on social media ahead of its release, said that they would be "Throwing a rager of a holiday party" upon the single's release

"'Dilemma' was one of those songs that was kind of easy to write because it was so personal to me," Armstrong said in a press release. "We've seen so many of our peers struggle with addiction and mental illness. This song is all about the pain that comes from those experiences."

Green Day previously released "The American Dream Is Killing Me" and "Look Ma, No Brains!" from the Saviors record, which is due out on January 19, 2024.
