Lichen China Ltd. (LICN), Monday announced the acquisition of remaining 40 percent equity interest in Bondly Enterprises Limited for $5.33 million to enhance AI development and business integration.
Upon the completion of this transaction, Bondly becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lichen China, enabling deeper integration of its technologies and services into Lichen China's existing offerings.
The initial purchase of 60 percent in Bondly Enterprises was made in 2024.
In the pre-market hours, Lichen China's stock is falling 4.18 percent, to $0.0779 on the Nasdaq.
