GDP is expected to rise 0.9 percent on quarter and 1.3 percent on year after slipping 0.9 percent on quarter and 0.6 percent on year in the three months prior.
The central bank in Taiwan will wrap up its monetary policy meeting and announce its decision in interest rates; the bank is expected to keep its benchmark lending rate steady at 2.00 percent.
