Kylie Minogue has scored the U.K.'s Christmas No. 1 single with "XMAS."
According to Official Charts Company data, the past 7 days has become Kylie's biggest week of U.K. sales and streams in 23 years, since 2002's "Love At First Sight."
"XMAS" is also the best-selling physical single of the week in the U.K., thanks to its release on 7" gold vinyl, 12" zoetrope vinyl and CD, topping the Official Vinyl Chart.
Fans took to social media throughout the week to rally their fellow troops into action, snapping up vinyl and downloads in their thousands, sharing viral videos of the TikTok-ready "XMAS" choreography, and hot-footing it down to Kylie's festive pop-up at Battersea Power Station.
The songs marks Kylie's eighth official U.K. top single, making her the only female solo artist to have topped the chart in four different decades.
"XMAS" is the Amazon Music edition bonus track from her new Christmas album, Kylie Christmas (Fully Wrapped), released on December 5.
On her achievement, Kylie said, "It's hard to put into words how special this feels. Being Christmas Number One really is the most wonderful gift! I'm so thankful to everyone who's been listening and sharing the love and I'm wishing you all a very Merry Christmas!"
